KVRU is Southeast Seattle's trusted hub for hyperlocal news, music, and culture, authentically reflecting our community. We empower, reflect and connect the people and cultures that define Southeast Seattle.

Our mission at KVRU is to platform community storytelling, music, and conversation while amplifying the voices of Southeast Seattle. We connect and inform our community while providing opportunities that prepare our youth to participate in the media workforce of tomorrow. We tell our stories, in our voices, and provide services rooted in community needs.

KVRU is non-commercial, low power FM radio station located in Seattle's Rainer Valley. The station broadcasts locally on 105.7 FM and streams worldwide on kvru.org.

Donated Funds will be used for operation costs, equipment costs, programming, and other needs of KVRU FM.
