Allied Arts Foundation, with support from 4 Culture, ArtsWA, and the National Endowment for the Arts, invites you to an evening celebrating three of Allied Arts Foundation’s treasured fiscally sponsored arts projects – Metier Brewery, King Youngblood, and Black & Loud Fest 2025.
Join us for the second gathering Allied Arts Foundation is producing at the only African American-owned brewery in the State of Washington – Metier Brewery, as we reach out to Seattle’s Central District community during their Arts Walk to bring people of all races and ages together to celebrate Allied Arts’ fiscal sponsorees, King Youngblood and Black and Loud Fest Seattle 2025.
This Event at Metier Brewery offers a rare acoustic performance by Cameron Lavi-Jones and cellist Chet Peterson of King Youngblood, the co-founding band of Black & Loud Fest. Also performing are rapper MC King Naj and soul singer Anthony Briscoe, the frontman and co-founder of Black & Loud Fest Seattle 2025.
Surrounded by delicious craft beer specially created by Metier Brewery, you’ll be among the first to toast Allied Arts Foundation’s support of its fiscally sponsored arts projects, including King Youngblood and Black and Loud Fest 2025. Don’t be surprised if Cyril Neville of the mighty New Orleans Neville Brothers makes a surprise guest appearance at this worthy event.
Your presence directly fuels Allied Arts Foundation’s Mission to support BIPOC and other underrepresented community members to have access to Allied Arts Foundation-produced events such as Black & Loud Fest in Seattle, Taswira Art Walk, Metier Pre Fest Reception, and more.
“Having Living Colour, one of the first Black alternative rock/punk rock/Afro-Punk bands, and the Uptown Ruler himself, Cyril Neville, who paved the way for bands like King Youngblood and Down North to develop and thrive, is a dream come true, says Lavi-Jones. “Along the way with Allied Arts producing this pre-fest reception, allowing it to be open to the public and putting a spotlight on all these amazing artists, we are fulfilling our mission and purpose to bring BIPOC artists in King County to the forefront. $4 Culture, ArtsWA, and the National Endowment for the Arts’ financial support is the only way Allied Arts can make this happen, and we are so grateful to be part of this.”
